The quality of Indian education requires a change and it has been a problem for years in our country. Rabindranath Tagore has written several lengthy articles about the Indian Education System and how it can be changed. Though certain things like establishment of IIM’s, IIT’s and other medium of instructions have come to practise but still we continue to follow some of the old practises.
Flaws in Education System
Rote learning: Students tend to memorize volumes of concepts without knowing its real meaning. It helps to score high marks in academic exams and they can even crack AIIMS, CLAT or IIT JEE exams.
Corruption:
Due to corruption, most of the colleges do not follow a systematized pattern of syllabus. If everything is checked and changed, some or the other place things would suck into further indolence.
Lack of Ambition:
Lack of Ambition:
It has become common to watch students to score 90% easily, which the majority of them are now finding difficult to choose their specialized stream and college.
Developing several colleges or schools will not solve the education system in India. We live in a country where the majority of the parent’s savings and borrowed money is spent on education. It is shocking to come across a poor standard of education where students are now the victims of pointless and unrealistic rat race. Besides, millions are struggling to get a job of their own choice that some end up in disappointments and commit suicide.

If the problem is in education system then it is not surely due to poor market or short of demand. It is failing due to several intrinsic reasons. If these systematic faults are fixed then sure India will be a country of excellent education services.
