Lalbagh Botanical Garden:  It is a gorgeous garden established as a reserved Mughal garden for the royal rulers of the city. The garden was established by Hyder Ali in the year 1760. It was further expanded by Tipu Sultan who was the son of Hyder Ali. At present, it occupying around 240 acres of landscape. It is popular for the red roses that blossoms all over the year. It is the reason it has received the name Lalbagh. It is best to visit the garden between 6.00 and 7.00 on any day of the week. Tipu Sultan Fort and Palace: Located within the Bangalore Fort, the palace of Tipu Sultan is constructed by Chiikadeva Raya. Hyder Ali re-established the palace in Indo Islamic style of architecture. The entire construction was completed by Tipu Sultan (son of Hyder Ali) in the year 1791. There is a Hindu temple located in the fort’s courtyard representing religious tolerance of Tipu Sultan. It is open from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
